Buy whole boxes after combining rooms by flooring product
- Create each flooring product with the exact coverage per box, area unit, optional price and waste percentage.
- Add non-overlapping rectangular rooms or sections, subtract exclusions and assign each to a product.
- Calculate and review combined demand, whole boxes and surplus. Export the assumptions and purchase list for checking with your supplier.
Avoid an extra box caused by floating-point rounding
20 m² plus 10% allowance is 22 m². At 2.2 m² per box, the result is exactly 10 boxes. Two 1 m² rooms sharing a 2 m² box product and zero allowance need one box together, not one each.
For boxed area-covering materials. No plank placement, carpet seam planning, installation advice or live prices. Split irregular areas into rectangles without overlaps; waste remains your chosen assumption.
