Trace data is processed locally and sanitized before export
Span names, attributes, IDs, service names and filenames never enter anonymous analytics. Common tokens, cookies, credentials and personal fields are redacted in exported JSON.

Current and comparison traces

Each input is limited to 10 MiB and 50,000 spans.

Critical path and service graphs are reconstructed heuristically from exported spans. Sampling, clock skew, missing parents and instrumentation choices can change conclusions.
