Prepare a 2 × 2 inch photo at 300 DPI for printing
- Choose a local photo and select the required printed size, or enter custom dimensions.
- Adjust the crop, zoom and rotation without altering facial features. Set the export DPI and inspect the preview.
- Export the JPEG or arrange copies on a print sheet. Print at actual size and measure the result, with automatic “fit to page” disabled.
Convert print dimensions to pixels
A 2 × 2 inch image at 300 DPI is 600 × 600 pixels. Changing the DPI tag alone does not fix an incorrectly cropped photo or guarantee that a printer will preserve the intended physical size.
This is a sizing and print-layout tool, not an official acceptance checker. It does not guarantee passport approval or replace rules on recency, background, expression and head position. Check the issuing authority’s current instructions; digital applications may have different requirements.
