About Running Pace & Race Splits

Turn a distance and goal time into a clear race plan. Calculate running pace, finish time or distance in kilometers or miles. Build even, negative or positive splits, then export a full schedule or a printable pace band. The core workflow is designed to run in your current browser.

Turn a goal time into a usable split schedule

  1. Choose which value to calculate, then enter the other two. Distance, pace and split units can be selected independently.
  2. Choose even pacing or a symmetric two-half variation. Set a split interval and calculate, including the final partial distance.
  3. Review cumulative times, download the complete schedule or a sampled pace band, and print the band at 100% actual size using its 50 mm check line.

A 50-minute 10K

10 km in 50 minutes is 5:00/km. A 5% negative split uses 5:15/km for the first 5 km and 4:45/km for the second, still finishing in 50 minutes.

This is a mathematical scenario, not a performance forecast. The pace band has up to 44 checkpoints and always keeps the finish; the full report retains up to 500 splits.
