Settle shared expenses without rounding gaps
- Name each person and choose one currency for the expense book.
- Record who paid each bill and choose equal, shares, percentages, exact amounts or item-level splitting. Add tax, tip and payments already made.
- Calculate and review each balance and suggested payment. Record actual payments only after they happen, then recalculate or export.
A three-person rounding example
USD 100 split equally three ways becomes USD 33.34, USD 33.33 and USD 33.33, with the extra cent assigned in input order when remainders tie.
The payment plan settles balances but does not guarantee the fewest possible transfers. One currency per book; this tool does not move money or perform currency conversion.
