About Random Picker & Team Generator

Pick names or build balanced random teams locally. Draw names with optional weights, avoid repeat winners across rounds and undo a draw. Randomly form balanced teams, display results full screen and export without uploading names. The core workflow is designed to run in your current browser.

Draw from a private list or form balanced groups

  1. Paste one entry per line. Turn on weights only when each line follows Name | integer; duplicate names remain distinct entries unless you explicitly remove them.
  2. Choose winners per round and cross-round no-repeat, or select team count / maximum team size. Teams ignore weights.
  3. Draw and review the visible result, undo the latest round if needed, or export the session report before editing inputs. Local backups contain configuration, not history.

Five people in two teams

Five distinct entries assigned to two teams form groups of three and two, with every entry included once. A no-repeat draw removes the chosen line IDs from later rounds.

Browser cryptographic randomness does not make this a certified lottery or tamper-proof record. Editing any setting clears the session; up to 200 entries and 200 rounds are supported.
