How to play

Choose Practice or Daily and a difficulty, then start. Fill each row, column and 3×3 box with 1–9 exactly once.
Select a cell and enter a number, or enable Notes to mark candidates. Undo and redo restore both numbers and notes.
Use Check or Hint only when needed. Pause to hide the board, or print the original puzzle and an optional separate answer page.

An example

If a row already contains 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, its empty cell must be 9, provided the column and box also allow it.

Difficulty describes clue density, not a certified technique rating. Hints explain naked or hidden singles when available; otherwise they explicitly offer an answer reveal. Every generated puzzle is checked for one solution.

Frequently asked questions

Is the daily Sudoku the same in every language?

Yes. The UTC date and chosen difficulty determine the puzzle, independently of display language. Your current puzzle does not change at midnight; choose Daily again for the new date.

Can I print Sudoku with its answer?

Yes. Print the original blank puzzle or include a separate answer page. The browser print dialog can save a PDF. Printing does not erase your current on-screen progress.

Where is my progress saved?

Game progress and records stay in this browser, without cloud sync. Clearing browser data removes them. Accounts, comments and anonymous operation events still use normal site requests; boards and answers are not included.
